ASUS MAXIMUS V FORMULA BROADCOM WLAN DRIVER
It's a pitty because i bought the card for the bluetooth So if anyone has a fully functioning BT card, let us know.
I was so happy to have internal wifi and bought the nice antennas for it, still having issues though that I can't seem to shake. I went ahead and ordered the Intel Advanced-N. I'll swap it in when it gets here.
I already looked on their site, Bluetooth 4. What cables did u order with it to connect the antenna's?
Remember I have the Maximus V Formula. That other Gigabyte one comes on a card, designed to be in there from what I saw. Also understand when you contact Gigabyte or any company for their tech support, the person you get isn't always all-knowing.
Maximus V wifi not working
They may have general knowledge of what to say from a computer, which isn't always right. I can tell you there's two drivers for the Intel, both of which I've already downloaded into my PC in anticipation of when the card comes.

One does Bluetooth, the other Wifi. My Broadcom is acting funny, to say the least, not that I can pin it on the Broadcom for sure, but from what I've read it's problematic, at best.
When I did try a different driver, it acted differently. Needless to say, for the price I paid I'm trying out the Intel.
The connections look to be the same, and the way my case is, I should be able to unscrew the Broadcom from the riser card, slip the Intel in place and screw it back down without taking anything else out. I've already got 2 TP Link TL-ANTC antennas which have boosted the signal a very decent amount and gave me greater cord length not to mention are black and match the theme unlike stock.

Hopefully sometime early next week I'll have the Intel and report back. I've tried different DNS servers to no avail. There's no malware or spyware on the PC, and very little running in the background.
The more odd thing is, if I log out of my user in Win 8 and back in, it works again. I'm feeling it has to be driver-related, but again, not positive. It's also possible there's a hardware malfunction that's not too serious and causing the issue, but the Windows Event log doesn't give me anything other than DNS resolution errors at the time the errors occur.
Maximus V Formula mPCIe WiFi Problems
No warnings or anything preceding the issue I don't think that was the case when some of the newer mainboards with mPCIe support were released. I also see WiFi Go!
Those will probably be your best bet for compatibility. My guess is the WiFI Go! The azurewave listed is a broadcom.
I'm swapping it out for an Intel Centrino hoping my problems go awayWanted to make this thread for anybody using a Maximus V Extreme (Perhaps even the Maximus V Formula, or other Z77 Asus boards) which use the Broadcom Bluetooth+WiFi combo card, in combination with Windows 10 x Download the first file, do a forced driver update on your Broadcom. So i bought a ASUS Maximus V Formula Broadcom WLAN usb adapter and now my maximus v can It shows broadcom n network adapter and broadcom virtual wireless.
